Home Theater Rapid City, South Dakota. Both LCD and Plasma televisions produce outstanding images. Google can give you a lot of detail, but here is something a little easier to sort through.
LCDs are brighter and typically use less power than plasmas. LCDs do better in brighter environments because their screens are not as reflective
Plasmas display deep blacks better, don’t have any problem with motion blur, and typically have better contrast. Plasmas are better for rooms where there will be people sitting of to the sides because they have a better viewing angle. They are usually a bit cheaper for the same size screen.
Choose the technology that fits your situation best. For example: A room where light will be hard to control, you most likely want an LCD but if lighting is no issue, a plasma will provide truer colors.
